Abstract/Summary
Includes notes on several archaeological interventions in Chester, at 3-5 Eastgate Row North where earlier surfaces and cellars were exposed, at 32-36 Foregate Street, New Union Hall, where deposits relating to the construction of this building were found, at 33 Bridge Street, where a series of industrial deposits were uncovered, at 49-51 Lower Bridge Street where building foundations were observed, the Roodee Subway where silt deposits containing Roman finds was recorded, and Watergate Row South where typical Victorian bead ovens were found.
