- Our information is supplied subject to Section 141 of the Local Government Act 1972, and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
- The Archaeology Planning Advisory Service is committed to the protection, conservation and enhancement of the historic environment. Therefore, enquirers may be required to inform the Service of the purpose of their enquiry.
- Access to all or part of the information requested may be refused in certain circumstances. For example, where the request is manifestly unreasonable, relates to the subject matter of any legal or other proceedings, contains confidential material or its disclosure would increase the likelihood of damage to the environment.

- The Historic Environment Record is the joint copyright of Cheshire East Council, Cheshire West and Chester Council, Halton Borough Council and Warrington Borough Council.
