Abstract/Summary

Report on the Desk-based Assessment and the excavation of three test trenches, in advance of the redevelopment of the former St Augustine's Convent in Union Street, Chester. Roman period remains, including a substantial ditch aligned north-south, a metalled surface, and a single burial were reported.
