Full Description

A deposit containing Roman herringbone pavement tiles, brick and pottery dating to between the late first to second century overlay a possible yard surface made of trampled soil and pebbles (1). Through this surface was cut a pit, which, although not excavated, was suspected to contain a cremation burial (1).
