Full Description
In the southern service trench of the 2002 watching brief (Site 2), a substantial deposit of sandstone brash was recorded (1). Because of its elevation, its associated deposits and its general similarity, it was proposed that this represents the possible road surface identified in the 1990 excavations at the Hotel Romano (CHER 8023/1).
