Description

Archaeological excavation at the north Bars site in 2004 comprising three areas. First areas aimed to exposed more of the Roman and post medieval deposits recorded in an earlier evaluation. Areas 2 and 3 investigated post medieval housing. Further evidence of the Roman ditch was encountered along with substantial post medieval landscaping deposits.
