Full Description
During archaeological excavations at the Bars, Area 2, a series of post medieval features were recorded, comprised of two large clay-lined rectangular pits, possibly relating to water management on the site, a thin linear feature running north - south, dividing the clay pits and a series of smaller rough patches that contained post medieval ceramics. All these features were cut into natural clay (1).
