Description

An archaeological watching brief undertaken during the excavation of foundations for two new buildings in St Olave's St., Chester, to the rear of St Olave's Church, revealed the rear wall of a medieval or post-medieval cottage, a medieval cess pit and a Roman cultivation deposit and associated drainage channel (1).
