Land off Centurion Way. Evaluation in 1992 of 15 trenches produced no deposits of archaeological significance.

Further evaluation in 2001 of the 15 trenches excavated in 1992 revealed in-filled ditches probably representing the lines of field boundaries, consistent with peripheral settlement and activity. The remains of probable Romano-British brine kiln were identified in trench 7. The archaeological remains were distributed widely across the site, but were more intense in the northern part.
