Chapter 5, from Volume II, of an Environmental Statement, considering the effects on the historic environment of the development of land at Holmes Chapel Road, Middlewich, for residential purposes. The historic environment, includes archaeological remains, the built environment and the historic landscape. The assessment was based on information contained in a desk-based survey (ECH6543), also an Historic Impact Assessment (ECH6544), both produced in July 2016. As part of the study, a series of mitigation proposals was put forward to reduce the impacts of the development. (1)
