Date
August 2001
Description
The evaluation recovered four artefacts, potentially dating from the prehistoric. Two of these were pieces of possible worked flint and two were fragments of VCP. Truncated archaeological features were encountered in the form of infilled ditches, most likely representing the lines of Romano-British field boundaries, and the remains of a probable Romano-British brine kiln.
