Description

Excavations both within Trinity Hall and in the yard to the north have recorded substantial evidence of archaeological remains. The evidence includes several Roman or Saxon burials, a possible Roman metalled road, rubbish pits filled with kiln/iron working debris as well as modern evidence of the former iron foundry including cellars and concrete bases.
