Description

Documentary study on the potential for archaeological evidence at the site of the former Leadworks submitted in support of planning proposals. The available documentary and archaeological evidence has been drawn together to predict the site's archaeological potential and suggest any necessary further work. Archaeological and documentary sources indicate a low potential for archaeology in the area pre-dating the post medieval period. There is a low-moderate potential for industrial archaeology of early phases of the Leadworks building.
