Description
Historic buildings impact assessment carried out in 2003 to inform a proposed redevelopment of the industrial complex known as the leadworks in Chester, specifically the area outside the Shot Tower complex, including the range of sheds to the north of the Grade II listed Shot Tower and the former Pipe Mill, Rolling Mill and Paint Department. It was concluded that only the Shot Tower and the engine house have retained their historic integrity from the 1800s.
