Description
Examination of historic mapping and other documentation suggests the likelihood of sub-surface archaeological features at the site in the form of the remians of buildings demolished in the late nineteenth century. The desk-based assessment has also highlighted the presence of archaeological remains which lie immediately outside the area of proposed development and include prehistoric, Roman, medieval and post-medieval remains.
