Description

Significant site of Roman bath house found on the site of the Feathers hotel/inn, although archaeological excavation was limited, substantial recording of the remains was permitted by the then owner. The major work was presented by Brushfield (1) with detailed plans of the remains. Site outlines extent of construction within which evidence was recorded.
