Abstract/Summary
Evaluation and Watching Brief carried out on vacant land between Chester Baths and Murlain House, Chester.
The work identified 18th to 19th century remains, including a tanning pit, and a series of Roman ditch fills to the north of the site. The Roman ditch was thought to be an extension of a ditch found to the south of the site during earlier works.
