Description
An archaeological evaluation and watching brief carried out on vacant land between the Chester Baths and Murlain House. The work identified eighteenth to nineteenth century remains, including a tanning pit, and a series of Roman ditch fills to the north of the site. The Roman ditch was thought to be an extension of a ditch found to the south of the site during earlier works.
