Listed in the Gazetteer of East Cheshire mills (1). Named on the OS 2nd ed. 25" map, marked as a mill on the OS 3rd ed. 6" map, but the buildings are shown on the OS 1st ed. 25" and 6" maps. (2, 3, 4 & 5).
