Summary

Grade II* listed house built around 1700 with an altered ground storey. It is red brickwith moulded stone door and window surrounds. There are modern shop fronts to the right and left.

Full Description

Nos. 60B, 62 & 62A Chestergate. Good house c.1700 with altered ground storey. Red brick. Five sash windows in moulded stone architraves; stone quoins at sides. Two string courses, moulded stone doorcase at centre with curved broken pediment, fanlight with later glazing bars and altered door, enriched consoles, enriched eaves cornice. Modern shop fronts to right and left. Interior retains good staircase. Full architectural description (1).
