Full Description
No.11 King Edward Street. Late C18 red brick to earlier core. Three storeys, two renewed sash windows with flat brick arches and stone sills. Facsimile Georgian style doorway in place of original. Recent (1975) deomolition of a building on righthand side has revealed medieval timbers, including a C15 arched and moulded truss which may have formed an internal bay of an early hall. Part of this building was evidently incorporated in the early core of No.11 (1).
