Full Description
Built in 1871. Large rectangular 2 storey brick built warehouse. 3 aisles, 15 bays long, with 6 loading openings on the North East front (1). Brown brick with blue brick projecting piers and bands on North West, North East and South East sides. Grey slate roof with 3 parallel ridges terminating in gables South East and North West. The first floor of the South West structural bay is carried over a covered loading bay, through which one arm of the canal passes. Cast iron columns support walls over loading bay. Now forms part of the Boat Museum (2).
