During rescue excavations on the National Westminster Bank site, three (CAB states 2) Romano-British sherds were found, close to the site of Wall Field considered to be the centre of the Roman settlement (see also source 2).

Petch reports a total of c.29 Roman sherds from this site, similar in character to the Crown Car Park material.
