Three Pigeons Public House. Early C19 with possible earlier core. Two-storey, four-bay stuccoed building with casement windows. Stone coped gables and plain eaves. Two single doorcases

The plan form and the presence of some heavy ceiling beams suggest a C17 timber framed building.

This hostelry was once a centre of cock fighting and stabling. The stone block was used by farmers wives who rode into town pillion style.
