Cottage: Seventeenth century with later seventeenth century addition and twentieth century additions to one side and rear. Coursed squared buff sandstone rubble. Kerridge stone-slate roof, stone ridge and three stone chimneys. Originally one roomed gable entry cottage, now L-shaped. A two-light chamfered stone mullion window in north gable, remaining windows twentieth century but some in original surrounds.
Interior: Has semi-hexagonal heck post and crudely chamfered fire beam and ceiling beams. Timber-framed partition wall in seventeenth century extension. Roof structure original.
