Cottage: C17 with later C17 addition and C20 additions to one side and rear. Coursed squared buff sandstone rubble. Kerridge stone-slate roof, stone ridge and 3 stone chimneys. Originally one roomed gable entry cottage, now L-shaped. A 2-light chamfered stone mullion window in north gable, remaining windows C20 but some in original surrounds.
Interior: Has semi-hexagonal heck post and crudely chamfered fire beam and ceiling beams. Timber-framed partition wall in C17 extension. Roof structure original.
