Sections of two field boundaries of post medieval date were excavated in 2023 as part of archaeological mitigation associated with the extension of Forest Hill Quarry. They appear on nineteenth century historic mapping.

Field boundary [1] was recorded near the south-east corner (Area D) of the site, it aligned north-east/south-west and measured 1.43m wide, 11m+ in length and 0.23m deep and filled with dark black-brown sand-silt (52). No finds were recovered. Field boundary [2] was recorded near the north-west corner of the site (Area H), it was aligned north-east/south-west and measured 1.88m wide, 181m+ in length and 0.6m deep, filled with dark black-brown sand-silt (53). The feature contained modern glass and 19th/20th century pottery.
