A building condition report was produced in November 2019 for a barn complex at Sutton New Hall Farm; both farmhouse and barns are locally listed. The barns are located to the north of the farmhouse. They were constructed circa 1812 and form a horseshoe shape, creating a courtyard to the farmhouse. They are of traditional exposed brick construction laid in random bond throughout and are surmounted by a dual pitched slate roof. The barns were considered to be in a satisfactory condition at the time of survey.
