Summary

Early nineteenth century road bridge, comprising an ashlar, single span, segmental arch. Grade II Listed. The bridge was associated with the now-demolished Havannah Mill and Windsor Mill complex located on the eastern side of the River Dane.

Road bridge. Early/Mid C19. Ashlar. Single span segmental arch. Voussoirs to arch with raised band above. Parapet flush with body of bridge and having chamfered coping. The bridge originally led to a cigar manufactory.

Havannah Bridge, along with Havannah weir, were both constructed in the early-mid nineteenth century and were associated with the now-demolished Havannah Mill complex, comprising Havannah Mill, Windsor Mill and three rows of associated workers' cottages. The mill complex was located on the east side of the River Dane and the bridge provided access to Macclesfield road. The tithe apportionment for the site records the owner as Gibbs Crawford Antrobus of Eaton Hall.
