Nineteenth century mapping depicts a large building to the north of Aus Bore House; it appears industrial in nature and potentially represents a factory or mill. Potential open yards are also depicted to the north and south of the building. Later mapping shows internal division of the building potentially indicating separate workshops. Given the fact that adjacent buildings 19, 21 and 23 Manchester Road are listed as fustian cutters' cottages, it could be that this building complex also was associated with the fustian cutting industry. It would appear that the buildings were demolished in the 1960s or 1970s and the plot now lies vacant.
