This farmstead is depicted on the tithe map for Moreton cum Alcumlow. The map shows two buildings either side of a courtyard. They were probably a house and a barn. There is also third much smaller building.
<2> Ordnance Survey, 1871-1882, Ordnance Survey County Series (Epoch 1) 25 inch to 1 mile - Cheshire, SJ8658, 1875 (Maps and Plans). SCH2462.
The farm is not depicted on this map of 1875, indicating that it has been demolished.
<3> Various, Various, Oral communication to the HER, Edwards, R, 02/04/2015 (Oral Communication). SCH2330.
It is possible that this farm was replaced by Roe Park Farm (CHER 149/1/2) which was located c.135m to the south-east.
<4> Dodgson J McN, 1970-2, 1981, The Place-Names of Cheshire, Vol.II, p.305 (Book). SCH3228.
This is one of a number of place-names associated with Roe Park (CHER 149/1).
