Full Description
During very limited excavations carried out while repairing a section of the boundary wall in the south-east part of Grosvenor Park, what was described as a medieval soil layer, likely at the base of the excavation area, was reported. The layer was not described in any detail, but it can be assumed that the small amount of medieval finds derived from it (1).
