Full Description
A building to the rear of No 19 Bridge Street Row has been subject to two phases of historic building survey following proposed alterations to the structure.
The building appears to be a three storied brick building of late 18th to early 19th century date. The original survey was carried out in 1998 following proposals to demolish the structure. The survey noted a 3.8m length of red sandstone plinth two courses in height at the base of the structure underlying the southern elevation while the remainder of the building appeared to be of English garden wall bond handmade red brick. It appears to have been in use as a workshop building (1). A further survey carried out in 2000 added a number of structural drawings but provided no further notes of interest (2)
