Description
Building survey of structures to the rear of 19 Bridge Street Row in advance of partial demolition of the non-listed structures. This survey was a level 3 standard (RCHME) following an earlier survey in 1998 by Archaeological Services.
The building is a three storied brick structure of a late 18th to early 19th century date. During the survey, an anomaly in the wall thickness was noted. One stretch of wall stepped in to become thinner along its length. There was no documentary evidence to suggest why this might be, neither was any construction break discernable at this point.
