Full Description
The Commercial Hotel is a 19th century building constructed adjacent to St Peter’s Church in brown brick with Flemish bond. It was included on the English Heritage Listed Buildings Register in 1971. (1)
A limited watching brief carried out in the yard adjacent to the hotel, itself the former graveyard of the Church, identified a 19th century coal chute in the wall of the hotel. (2)
