Full Description
Archaeological investigations at the site of 12-22 Commonhall Street in 1991 recorded evidence of substantial archaeological deposits from the Roman period. There were indications in several of the test pits of a relatively clear area across the middle part of the site that may indicate an east-west road from Bridge Street (via Praetoria) (1)
