Full Description
Two parallel gullies, or ditches, running in a southwest – north east alignment, were identified during an archaeological evaluation carried out at The Bars, Chester, between 1998 – 1999 (note that the results of this excavation are available only in draft form) (1). Both features measure 0.36m wide, and approximately 0.26m deep. Without a finalised excavation report, no other observations are possible.
