Site Event/Activity record ECH7393 - River Weaver Navigation: Photographic Record of the Restoration Works to Vale Royal Upper Sluices

A photographic record was undertaken in 1997-8 for restoration works carried out at Vale Royal Upper Sluices, which are Grade II Listed, on the navigable section of the River Weaver Navigation between Frodsham and Northwich. These works formed part of a major project to refurbish and modernise the sluice structures. The photographic survey also includes some photographs (1-12) taken during detailed inspections in May 1993 showing the condition of the structure prior to restoration.
