Description
Programme of improvement carried out by Grosvenor Construction Ltd on the pedestrian entrance in the City Walls as well as repairs to the upper wall surface. The work revealed considerable modern disturbance with additional Victorian and Georgian disturbance in the city walls. All deposits contained a range of artefacts dating from the Roman to post medieval periods largely as disturbed or residual finds.
