Description

Evaluation carried out in advance of planned development work to the rear of Hamilton House in Chester. Work was requested due to the highly sensitive nature of the archaeology in the area. A single test trench located evidence from several phases of activity from Roman surfaces and structural deposits relating to the military barrks to medieval structures at the same location.
