Description

Sandstone foundations of a Roman building, together with a possible yard surface was discovered along with many Roman finds including local and imported vessels, bone needles and hair pins, gaming counters and brooches (3). Two trenches were excavated in connection with sewerage works by Welsh Water, both were within 5m of the road and produced large quantities of finds, predominately of Roman origin (4).
