Description
Three small test pits were excavated within the garden of 22 City Walls, Chester (also known as Edgar House), in order to speed up a watching brief monitoring groundworks on the site to repair and restore the city wall (1). Post-medieval finds were recovered, and a very small amount of residual pottery.
