Description
An archaeological watching brief carried out during August and September 2006, monitoring groundworks during the replacement of a gas main along the Nun's Rd., Chester. In January 2007, the trench was extended in to Grosvenor St. At the south end of Nun's Rd. The works revealed evidence of medieval sandstone masonry, perhaps associated with the city wall.
