Description
An archaeological evaluation undertaken adjacent to the sandstone retaining wall in front of St Olave's Church, Chester, to inform a structural solution to manage the bulging wall. The excavation confirmed the presence of inhumations, possible buried sandstone surfacing and other architectural features. Also included in the evaluation report is an Osteological Assessment of the human remains and recommendations for their disposal.
