Full Description
A small assemblage of residual Roman period pottery, recovered from otherwise post-medieval contexts during 2008 remedial works to the sandstone retaining wall at St Olave's Church, Lower Bridge St., Chester (1). Roman features have been identified nearby by other interventions, and it is likely that these finds derive from those or contemporary deposits.
