Description
A building and landscape survey was undertaken in 2001 at Little Moreton Hall, as part of a wider scheme of works. Two farm buildings were investigated - the seventeenth century Shippon Range and the nineteenth century Cowhouse. The survey also further refined the location if two water mills on the estate and revealed physical evidence for site of the bloomery in the form of iron slag. (1)
