Description

Following intervention by the Ancient Monuments Inspectorate a limited amount of excavation was allowed on the western part of the Grosvenor precinct redevelopment scheme (ECH3128). The south east corner of the basilica and the whole eastern half of the baths suite as far as the perimeter wall was subsequently recorded. (3) Referred to as Site No 35 in the City Defences Monograph (2)
