Description
Boughton, 1978: During road widening in Boughton in 1978, pebble surfaces, possibly attributable to the Roman period, and aligned approximately east-west, were revealed (1, p185) along with several wood pipes and modern tram lines (2)
23 Castle St., 1978: A fragment of a Roman mirror was found at Castle Street during non-archaeological excavations associated with building operations.
