Description

Stables and Coach House at Hinderton Hall LL8 (Previously LL HD/4) Address: Chester High Road, Hinderton, Neston Architect: Alfred Waterhouse Date: c1855 Description Steep pitched patterned slate roof with sandstone parapets to end gables, southernmost coach house with lower ridge may be later (fits awkwardly against main stable building). Gothic style detailing. Mullioned windows and gables, quatrefoil pitchhole openings to first floor hayloft and gable. Interesting gothic dog kennel to south gable, probably the only “Waterhouse” designed dog kennel. Condition Good. Current use In use as offices. Updated April 2007
