Antiquarian collection of elements of hypocausts, columns and Roman carved stones including pieces of capitals and cornices. C1 to C4. Collected on the initiative of Charles Greenwood, City Engineer, mid C20. The collection, discovered during excavation for several C20 developments, is arranged on a lawn, with the hypocaust pillars provided with an outer wall and flue-arch to show how it was operated.
